Evocean® have enhanced their partnership with MDL Marinas, designing and producing almost 5000 durable, eco-friendly jute shopper bags for their valued berth holders.
Created especially for the new boating season, these sustainable bags combine durability, practicality, and eco-friendly materials, supporting a growing shift towards more sustainable practices throughout the UK marina sector.
Designed by Evocean® with both usability and sustainability in mind, these bespoke shoppers provide MDL berth holders with a premium, reusable alternative to single-use plastic bags. As environmental awareness continues to shape the marine industry, practical solutions like this play an important role in reducing everyday waste at marinas and along the coastline.
Each bag is crafted from high-quality lined jute fabric with a robust 14/15 weave, selected for its strength, longevity, and low environmental impact. Natural fibres like jute break down much more quickly than plastic, which can take hundreds of years to decompose. Because they are biodegradable, they cause less damage to ecosystems and pose fewer risks to wildlife.
Each bag is finished with soft, padded cotton handles for added comfort, along with generous dimensions that make them suitable for a wide range of uses – from carrying provisions and boating equipment to everyday shopping.
